Dominic Pearson
Head of Private Client
Dominic qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and is Head of our Private Client department. Dominic was a co-founder and Managing Director of Broadstone Legal’s predecessor, Heritage Law.

Dominic deals with all aspects of private client work, including clients with complex estate planning needs, assisting with applications to the Court of Protection and advising families concerned about capacity or care funding. Dominic’s goal is to provide clients with a solutions-based approach, focussing on the specific circumstances and needs of the individual.

Rob Tiffen
Head of Business Services
Rob joined Broadstone Legal in April 2025 as Head of Business Services. He has previously worked at the leading national and regional firms in Norfolk and Suffolk, having qualified as a solicitor in September 2007.
​
​Rob specialises in a wide range of commercial litigation, including commercial contract disputes, shareholder and director/senior employee litigation, professional negligence and insolvency. He acts for many of the leading businesses and High Net Worth individuals in the region. He is also one of the few specialist franchising litigators in the UK and has acted for national and international franchise brands.

Matthew Dugdale
Head of Property
Matthew has accumulated a wide range of experience in residential property matters working for national and local firms in London, Aylesbury and Norwich since qualifying as a Solicitor, in London, in January 2006.
​
He provides a bespoke service working proactively with all parties, responding promptly to his clients requests to ensure their matters reach their conclusion swiftly. He also acts for clients intending to purchase newly-built properties and for developers acquiring sites for future residential construction projects including onward plot sales.

Stuart Burrell
Chairman
Stuart Burrell is the Chairman & Director of Broadstone Legal. He co-founded its predecessor Heritage Law at the beginning of 2017.​ Stuart is also the Managing Director of our sister businesses Heritage Wills and Heritage Homes Sales & Lettings.
Away from work, Stuart is the Chairman of Norwich Rugby & Football Club.

Gabby Riches-Smith
Trainee Solicitor
Gabby gained her law degree in 2020 and went on to gain her master’s in Law in 2022. Coming from a background in education, teaching children with special education needs, Gabby brings a breadth of experience to the team.

Since joining the firm in April 2022, as an assistant, Gabby quickly progressed to Trainee Solicitor and has become a valuable member of the team. Mainly working in the Property team Gabby is passionate about helping clients and making the conveyancing process as smooth as possible.
Kyle McCullum
Trainee Paralegal, Private Clients
Kyle is the trainee Paralegal and works alongside Dominic and is responsible for drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Probate applications.
He supports clients through their matters, taking calls, answering questions, amending documents and much more.
Kyle is the 'engine room' of the team, providing essential support through his strong work ethic, attention to detail and use of his problem-solving skills.

Sarah Tarling
Conveyancing Paralegal
Sarah Tarling is a passionate professional, with over two decades of experience in the field of Intellectual Property, specialising in Trademark Law.
Over the last 21 years, she has developed a robust understanding of the complexities and nuances of trademark registration and enforcement. To further broaden her skillset, and ensuring she offers comprehensive legal support to all clients, Sarah has expanded her expertise to include patents, as well as delving into the realm of conveyancing.
